COVID-19 UPDATE

We are open for business, processing and delivering orders – however, postal service within Australia may take an extra 2-4 working days in transit and to international destinations may take an extra 5 working days in addition to Australia Post standard transit times shown below.

 


Orders for delivery within Australia :

Usual transit time is 3-5 working days. Delivery to outlying or remote areas may take an additional 3 days.

Orders for Delivery to International Destinations :

International transit times vary significantly depending on the destination country.

In some cases, delivery delays may occur due to customs procedures at the destination country. This is out of Great Australian Stores control.

We use Australia Post service for international orders. However, the order will be delivered by the destination country’s local postal or courier service provider. Your order can be tracked on the Australia Post website.

Important:

All applicable import duties, clearance fees, brokerage fees, local sales taxes or other additional charges at the destination country are the customers responsibility and are payable by the customer directly to the concerned authority prior to delivery of the order.

In addition, local customs practises may require you to provide additional information to clear your order. These rules vary by country. Your local government determines duty and customs charges. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Great Australian Store does not accept responsibility or liability for any independent shipping instructions customers give to the destination shipping agent or postal service. For example, if the customer instructs the destination shipping agent or postal service to deliver their order to a different location from the one provided when the order was placed (e.g. in a shed or garage, or with a neighbour), Great Australian Store cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive the order.

For your safety and security we do not currently deliver to collection points such as: PO Boxes, Amazon lockers, Collect Plus, and Parcel Motel. If you nominate a collection point as your shipping address, we cannot accept responsibility if you fail to receive the order.

Delivery service by Australia Post is climate neutral with an offset to cover logistics & emissions.
